On comments

23 06 2008

There seems to be a few VCs investing in what I can only describe as ‘comment companies’. Things like disqus and Seesmic. My initial thought was ‘this is bollocks’. Comments are a feature of blogs, there you go, not much to see here move right along.

Now what made me change my mind was watching Euro 2008. Some of the games I go out for which means banter with friends. But when I watch the games at home I still banter with my friends over text message and on message boards. If there was a way of integrating this with the game so I could turn on a live feed of comments whilst I was watching that would be a good feature. It’s never going to be a new Google but I can see a future for it.

Now since this is a post about comments it’s time for you to have your say, guess where.

Arshavin eh? What a player.
